Best Time To Visit Egypt
How do you enjoy Egypt’s ancient and natural attractions in the coolest season? The Perfect Time to Discover and Relax In the Northern European winter, many travelers (and tour groups) flee the gloomy skies back home to enjoy the beaches of Sharm el-Sheikh and the Red Sea coast this time of year, is the Best time to travel to Egypt. You’ll experience pleasant weather across most of the country, although in Cairo and Alexandria, expect some rain. Suppose you’re here to explore Luxor’s abundance of Pharaonic wonders. In that case, winter brings clear skies and cozy daytime temperatures to make long days of wandering around ancient ruins a delight rather than a challenge. This is also the Best time to travel to Egypt and the most popular season to venture into the Sinai or the Western Desert for outdoor adventures (from hiking to camel trekking) or to soak up the winter sun while learning to dive in South Sinai and along the Red Sea coast. Divers should note that sea conditions can be rough on boat dives around December, but shore dives are usually fine. In Cairo, the mild weather makes November an excellent time for long walks to admire the capital’s madrassas and mosques. Be aware it will be chillier than you might think (especially after dark), so you also need to pack something warm. Finally, be ready to pay more for accommodation during the winter high season, especially around Christmas and New Year.
